After the weigh-ins, the main event of UFC 280 in Abu Dhabi will feature Charles Oliveira vs. Islam Makhachev for the vacant lightweight title.
After losing the championship on the scales the last time, Do Bronx will try to reclaim it. In what was meant to be a championship defense, he defeated Justin Gaethje despite the fact that he was a half-pound over the limit at 155.5 pounds.
He will now take on Makhachev, one of the UFC’s most exciting prospects. He has won 10 straight fights, including a first-round TKO victory over Bobby Green and a submission victory over Dan Hooker.
