The UFC brings its highly-anticipated event to Madison Square Garden in New York City each November. This Saturday, the promotion will once again present a spectacular pay-per-view event with the UFC 281 event.
The main event of the event will be a battle between Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira for the vacant Middleweight Championship. Adesanya is considered to be one of the best fighters in the division, while his opponent is regarded as one of the toughest competitors he has faced.
In the co-main event, former champion Carla Esparza will look to defend her title against Zhang Weili. Despite her numerous accomplishments, the champion is considered to be an underdog when she steps into the cage.
The other main event of the event will be a lightweight bout between Michael Bisping and Chad Griffin. It’s expected to be a highly-competitive match.
In his last match before he retires from mixed martial arts, former lightweight champion Frank Edgar will face off against Chris Gutierrez at bantamweight.
